Lenin Kazoba

Lenin Kazoba Secretary

Mr. Lenin Kazoba, a dedicated director and co-founder of the Tanzanian Youth Coalition (TYC), has devoted nearly two decades to TYC’s noble mission. Over the years, Lenin has spearheaded a range of transformative projects, leaving an indelible mark on Tanzania’s youth empowerment landscape.

In 2008, TYC initiated the groundbreaking “”Youth Platform”” project, a platform that facilitated dialogues between young individuals and local leaders in Dar es Salaam. These dialogues addressed critical development issues, fostering a sense of community and collaboration. As a result, numerous young people were empowered to establish Youth SACCOs, enabling them to access vital funds from the local government. This initiative, known as “”4, 4, 2″” (4 for Women, 4 for Youth, and 2 for people with disabilities), became a catalyst for positive change.

Parallel to his impactful work with TYC, Lenin is pursuing studies in Business Management, reflecting his commitment to personal growth and professional development. I have over a decade worth of experience in the collection, analysis and dissemination of official statistics. My expertise is focused on the production and dissemination of national accounts statistics and government finance statistics. Additionally, I am a Revenue Analyst professional; experienced in forecasting, revenue management and commercial business analytics. I am highly skilled in the preparation company budgets, reports for use by finance, operations, commercial and marketing departments for decision making and ensuring controls.

As a young lady my interest was focused on youth empowerment and development. Growing up this has not changed much. I enjoy to see young people in position of power and leadership. But what I truly love is helping young leaders make informed decisions that affect their daily lives and people who largely depend on them especially, their fellow youth. Service above self is what I believe all young people should believe in and leave by.
