In 2019 Tanzania Youth Coalition (TYC) in partnership with Landesvereinigung Kulturelle Jugendbildung (LKJ) organized a Practical Training Film Camp with the main objective of building capacity among the Young People who were interested on film making to create their digital stories (Film documentaries) and sensitize them to engage Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on film making.

This youth exchange program brought together youth from Tanzania and Germany with the intention of shaping their careers through learning and contributing their ideas and thoughts. The program officially began in Stuttgart, Germany, from March 24th to April 7th, 2019, as the first phase. The second phase was held in Dodoma, Tanzania, from September 1st to 15th, 2019.

During the program, the youth formed three groups based on their views on Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) and developed three topics. They produced three film documentaries as part of practical training. Additionally, the young people were mentored by film experts at every stage of their film production throughout the project.
